Lighten Hair At Home

So I have a little secret I love Cheryl!

I try and copy her hair which changes all the time so its hard to keep up with her but I do love her hair so much! So when cheryl started spotting a light caramel brown I wanted to follow suit!

Unfortunately I have dark hair SO I wasn't sure if it would be possible to go that much lighter at home without making a MESS!

I should also explain that I am CHEAP and I don't have the money to get it done professionally even though it would be easy to just get it done by a professionally.

I thought if I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right and not too light too quickly so I slowly (and I mean slowly) dyed it lighter and lighter till I got it just right yay!

It took me the whole summer and it was great to have lighter hair because I now realise one thing - I DO NOT LIKE LIGHT HAIR ON ME! lol but it was fun!

But look at Cheryl now! Back to dark!! Yay I love this colour on her!

Here is everything I used and did!

Party Problems!

Wedding, Ball, Party and Debs (Irish Prom)
are all popular occasions for this time of year!

Hopefully I can help sort your party problem!

1. Picture Perfect
Getting your make-up just right for that special day can seems impossible but it doesn't have to be!
I have tutorials that will get help you get photo ready!

First The Basics!

This video explains everything you need to know to get your makeup to last and more importantly look prefect in photos!

Flawless Foundation

Getting flawless skin can be tricky especially if you suffer from skin problems like me, but I share my favourite tips here!

Contour Queen

Contouring and highlight will take your look from great to picture perfect!
Photos can make the face look flat and fuller then it truly is, but hopefully this simple beginners tutorial will help!
One tip I will give you
Dark skin - Highlight More
Work with your natural dark contours.
Light Skin - Contour More
Work with your natural pale highlights.

2. Matchy Matchy
I am not the biggest fan of matching the same tones in your dress with your makeup but I don't see the harm in coordination them, So lets talk colours!

For Blue/Navy Tones

You could try this look -
(by the way my dress is from New look)

Black & White Dresses

The most popular question I seem to get is about matching makeup to black or white (or both) dresses, I always say that a red lips and liner really seem to work!

This look work prefect for photographs too so its a complete look!

This one is a little bit more vintage but it equally works

Mixed Dresses

My new tutorial is a look for any dress!!

These are the most popular looks I get asked about but feel free to leave a comment with your dress colours! I am going on a break with my boyfriend Jonathan for a while but when I get back I will update with new look, just leave a comment!

Easy French Tips At Home

I pick up this Sally Hansen French Manicure Kit  €5.49

Which includes:
Nude polish
White polish
& Nail tip guides

Let's get started:

My natural nail shape is a square/oval shape. I like to just follow this shape as it works best for my nails.

Take the tip guides provided. (If you don't have any of these take some clear sticky tape instead.)

Apply tape/tips wear you want your white tips to end.

Take white polish, wipe one side off on bottle.
Flip over and paint a thin layer of white on each tip.

Let dry and repeat with second coat.

Once fully dry remove guide slowly.

Apply two thin coats of nude polish to set and seal!
You're done!
