I hardly ever wear my glasses, I always feel so ugly when I wear them! Lately I've been trying new makeup styles and I'm starting to love my glasses again. I see them as an accessory now instead of a burden. I love this look without glasses but when you put the glasses on it changes it, it completes it!

I'm a huge Britney Spears fan so I wanted to share her red carpet look from the People's Choice Awards. Brit won Favourite pop artist! Yay! She is totally the queen of pop I could imagine her not winning it.

But as this is Themakeupchair let talk makeup - For once I have nothing negative to say I think she's glowing, her skin looks flawless I guess Vegas life suits her, Her eyebrows are great, Usually her makeup artist "forgets" them and they look uneven and washed out but they looks great. She looks great!

I think she recently changed her makeup artist and he is doing a great job! 

If there was a movie about Britney's life Kaley Cuoco (Penny from TBBT) could totally play her!

Who me?? In Cosmopolitan magazine... 

All week long I've had comments about people seeing me in Cosmopolitan magazine. I was sure it wasn't me but I double checked my emails to make sure I hadn't sleep-emailed Cosmo into featuring me or something but no, I assumed it must have been a mistake. Maybe someone who looked like me or with a similar name.

It came as a total shock to me to get an email from a follower with a screenshot of it. 

I am over the moon!

 I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! 

It was this video that was featured, I'm still in shock!!

Thank you all so much for watching my videos. I can't believe a shy quiet girl from a small town has made it into Cosmopolitan magazine in India! Crazy!!

Long Lasting Lipstick

We all want our lipstick to last longer, Who wants to be topping up their lipstick throughout the day! 

It's the biggest complaint with lipstick, Imagine topping up your eye makeup throughout the day because it faded completely and you have to start from scratch! You just wouldn't want to wear it!

Luckily there are steps you can take to improve the longevity of your lipstick!

Start with a primer or a lip balm. If you chose a lip balm remove excess oils with blotting paper or a tissue before starting.

Define the lip shape with a lip liner and then fill in the rest of the lips. Lip liners are waxy and dryer so they last longer on the lips. If you are using a creamy lip liner blot again with paper or tissue.

Apply the first layer of lipstick. I would suggest using a lip brush for a sharper cleaner finish.

Blot the lips with blotting paper. I prefer using blotting paper then just tissue or the back of your hand because blotting paper only absorbs oils and shouldn't remove as much pigment as tissue.
Blotting Paper: Boots

The more pigment on the lips the longer it will last.

Apply the second coat of lipstick. You really want to use a lip brush here to make sure you stay within the shape you have already outlined.

For an option extra step use a product called Lipcote. It seals in the lipstick helping it to last longer.

Sharpen the edges of the lips with a flat concealer brush.
